It includes two engaging workshop presentations on Maryland’s Deaf history and culture by Keith Delk of Maryland Deaf Culture Digital Library and Jerrod Grill of the National Archives, a delicious lunch by Deaf-owned Crepe Crazy and dessert by Rosemary's Fabulous Cakes, a session with the Maryland Governor’s Office of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing’s newest connection, Director Usherla DeBerry, and a comprehensive general meeting thereafter to collect community input and insights for MDAD and the National Association of the Deaf (NAD).

General Meeting
The General Meeting is for Members only however, non-members can observe the meeting.
Members will have an opportunity to discuss priorities that MDAD should send to the National Association of the Deaf for consideration. Members also will select up to 4 people to attend the National Association of the Deaf to represent MDAD.
To submit a priority, you need to be a MDAD member and you can fill out the form here. It is due to MDAD Board by Wednesday, April 17, 2024.
